Nesta pesquisa, busco compreender os sentidos produzidos pelo imigrante libanês ao falar sobre como é viver em outro país, ou seja, que sentido ele produz, por meio da linguagem, ao falar sobre a mudança de vida a um novo lugar. Buscamos analisar seu discurso, considerando os aspectos linguístico-discursivos, a fim de perceber em que medida os imigrantes libaneses sofreram, ou não, a aculturação devido à vinda ao Brasil, a partir de seu contato com a cultura ocidental, especificamente a brasileira. Para tal efeito, usamos como apoio teórico a teoria enunciativo-discursiva conforme os estudos do Círculo de Bakhtin, além de Ingedore Koch (2003) como aporte para a criação de categorias de análise. Para a contextualização histórica, utilizamos autores como Meihy (2016), Truzzi (2009) e Khatlab (2010) para o estudo da história do Líbano e da imigração libanesa no Brasil, já que esta pesquisa trata da imigração de árabe-libaneses. Quanto à geração e organização dos dados, realizamos oito entrevistas (quatro homens e quatro mulheres) que foram transcritas e cujos trechos foram analisados e interpretados com base nas categorias de análise criadas conforme a teoria proposta. As entrevistas são a fonte de informação mais relevante, pois, por meio delas, se pode justificar o problema levantado, uma vez que o entrevistado expressa seu ponto de vista sobre o assunto utilizando suas próprias interpretações e, assim, contribuindo para responder questionamentos que são fundamentais para o fenômeno estudado: a imigração libanesa no Brasil. Foram vários os sentidos trazidos pelos imigrantes, dentre eles, destaco a necessidade de aprender a língua para ter mais acesso às situações sociais e a transformação ocorrida pelo trabalho com tempo delimitado e horários a cumprir, questões não consideradas no seio da comunidade árabe de forma regular.

In this research, I seek to understand the meanings produced by the Lebanese immigrant when talking about what it is like to live in another country, that is, what meaning he produces, through language, when talking about changing his life to a new place. We seek to analyze his speech, considering the linguistic-discursive aspects, in order to understand to what extent the Lebanese immigrants suffered, or not, the acculturation due to coming to Brazil, from their contact with the western culture, specifically the Brazilian one. For this purpose, we use as theoretical support the enunciativediscursive theory according to the studies of the Bakhtin Circle, in addition to Ingedore Koch (2003) as a contribution to the creation of categories of analysis.. For historical contextualization, we use authors such as Meihy (2016), Truzzi (2009) and Khatlab (2010) to study the history of Lebanon and Lebanese immigration in Brazil, since this research deals with Arab-Lebanese immigration. As for the generation and organization of data, we carried out eight interviews (with four men and four women) that were transcribed and whose excerpts were analyzed and interpreted based on the analysis categories created according to the proposed theory. Interviews are the most relevant source of information, because through them, the problem raised can be justified, since the interviewee expresses his point of view on the subject using his own interpretations and, thus, contributing to answer questions that are fundamental to the phenomenon studied: Lebanese immigration in Brazil. There were several meanings brought by immigrants, among them, I highlight the need to learn the language to have more access to social situations and the transformation that occurred by working with limited time and schedules to be fulfilled, issues not considered within the Arab community on a regular basis.
