Abstract in English
This work focus on the following question: how did the relationship between the Japanese nativist thought that emerged in the Tokugawa period, namely Kokugaku 国学 and Mitogaku 水戸学, and the political action after the opening of the Japanese ports developed? Through the reading of textual sources and analysis of context, I consider that the thought then constructed, of a protonationalist character, supported several nationalist actions condensed under the term son'nô-jôi Its common points were, albeit unconsciously, the maintenance of Japanese sovereignty in contrast to what happened in China and the strengthening of Japan vis-à-vis the Western powers in the context of the expanding capitalist world-economy. With the privileged view that we have, it is possible to note the seeds and first steps of movements that would mark the history of the twentieth century.
