Narrativas de ficção e não-ficção

Abstract in English
This research is articulated in an interdisciplinary character between literature and medicine in the measure of the perspective of the relationships and interrelations of the proposed framework. The concept of otherness - according to the concept of otherness ethics, where the issue of individual responsibility, defended by the contemporary philosopher Emmanuel Lévinas (1906-1995) - is the interpretive key for investigation that takes place along the lines of fictional writing and not -fiction by the Portuguese doctor and writer Fernando Namora. Focused on the literary narratives of his referential work entitled Retails of the life of a doctor and on factual publications that appear in the Jornal do Médico. The objective of this research is to think of the journalistic narratives about human health from the corpus of the referred works, based on the studies of literary theory (at the limit of criticism and literary genres) as principles of analysis, assuming that Ethical relationships, by means of otherness issues, are effectively sustained face-to-face (or face-to-face) with the other.
