O presente trabalho tem por finalidade investigar, através de uma análise comparativa, a presença de elementos estruturais e procedimentos característicos da arte popular, nas peças é possível observar aspectos do universo circense, como a dimensão hiperbólica do circense nas peças: O Homem e o Cavalo, de Oswald de Andrade e Mistério Bufo, de Maiakóvski. Em ambas personagens, a ridicularização de costumes sociais, o uso de máscaras sociais e da paródia. Em todo o trabalho, tentamos construir um diálogo entre as dramaturgias de Maiakóski e Oswald de Andrade, com a intenção de apontar semelhanças em suas escrituras teatrais, como, por exemplo, o "desprezo pelo teatro naturalista", o "desejo de informar através do texto", a visão de "teatro como uma seqüência de paródias." A base metodológica deste estudo comparativo é uma investigação dos elementos artísticos da estética do espetáculo circense utilizados em ambas as peças como recursos estilísticos estruturais e suas implicações histórico-sociais

The present dissertation has the purpose of investigating through comparative the analysis, the presence of structural elements and procedures which are characteristic of the circus popular art in the plays: "O Homem e o Cavalo" by Oswald de Andrade and "Mystery-Bouffe" by Mayakovsky. In both plays, it is possible to observe aspects of the circus universe, such as the hyperbolic dimension of are mocked, the use of social masks and parody. Throughout the work, we have tried to build a dialog between the dramaturgy of Mayakovsky and of Oswald de Andrade to point out other similarities in their theatrical representation, such as their "disdain for the naturalistic theater", "their intention of informing through the text", their view of the 'theater as a sequence of parodies." The methodological basis of this comparative analysis is the investigation of the artistic elements in the esthetics of the circus spectacle which were used in both plays as structural stylistic resources, and their historical and social implication
