Title in Portuguese
Arquétipos literários no romance Inveja, de Iuri Oliecha
Keywords in Portuguese
Iuri Oliecha
Literatura russa
Prosa soviética

Abstract in English
This work proposes a study of Envy (1927), the only novel by Yuri Karlovich Olesha, through the literary archetypes which composes its structure. The archetypes are understood as thematic elements inside the narrative used by the author in order to reach the deep actuality of his time. They unfold themselves in a number of meanings and spread through the whole novel's structure in order to constitute a multiple and deep perspective over themes of the new Soviet society under construction. These elements are essentialy analised under the form of the novel's characters, who embody in themselves the social, filosofical and literary clashes that took place in the 1920's Soviet Union. The two narrators and their relashioship are also analised, for there are the organizers of the whole novel's fragmentary structure in a coherent form. The set of relationships between characters and narrators is responsible for the effect of strangement, or, as we choose to call in this work: stereoscopy. Efect that reaches every narratives level and provide the reader a multiple perspective over the depicted world.
