This texts explores the intricacies of a poetry that, from the beginning, is immersed in the poetic problem of lyrical subject dramatization. This attitude enables the poet to represent the multifaceted self in a work whose fragmented unity is marked by intentional instability. Carlos Drummond de Andrade brings to his poems the figure of the poet, presenting it as a self that, by reflecting on the subjective aspect of the lyricism ends up reflecting, also, on the world.
