In the work set, we try to understand the poet and his carpentry - which he himself predicts "butcher" - in a progression of themes, images and forms that follow paths, sometimes dispersed and plural, but which are at one point in the possibility of conciseness and clarity. This course, if not a general rule, translates an important critical search - between departure and arrival - for the understanding of Weintraub's poetry in contemporary times since of lyrical intensity, narrative and social reflection. The research project considers the poetry analysis proposal of six books of the poet from the idea of "poetic shock" as the established essence of the place of crisis, where the place of the verse becomes a historical and social place.
