This dissertation aims to present a reading of the tales "Teleco, the rabbit", "Alfredo" and "The dragons" [from the book Ex-magician and other stories by Murilo Rubião] based on the relationship between animalities and humanities. From these relationships emerge new possibilities of the human, constructed through inventive couplings between body and language, which impel us not only to recognize the proximity between us and the different animalities, but also to question social hierarchies constructed from the erasure of dehumanized or subhumanized human bodies, reduced to the generic group in which we insert animals. We sought to traverse, during the readings, both the human's and the animal's perspectives, because we believe it is from the conflict between different enunciative possibilities and the assumptions of existence activated by them, that the work of Murilo Rubião is built. Such assumptions, if considered from the heterogeneity of the fictional regime, also enable a brief revision of the notions of fantastic literature. In short, we believe that considering as a possible world what escapes the dominant reality proposed by the Rubião's narrator, varying the reading experiences even in the face of the experience of domination to which the animal characters are subjected, opens the tales to other political possibilities of enactment, which are established through the clash between the univocal structure, that denies the fluidity of bodies, and the equivocal force of bodies seeking to disintegrate it.
