O presente trabalho investiga a noção de perda a partir das tensões constitutivas da escrita de Jorge Luis Borges. Para tal, seu foco recai sobre uma posição enunciativa constante na obra borgeana: em muitas de suas narrativas, por exemplo, a experiência-limite vivenciada em um tempo passado é trazida ao tempo da enunciação, mas, paradoxalmente, tal gesto só virá a reafirmar a inacessibilidade do fato narrado àquele que enuncia. Esse circuito entre perda e escrita, constitutivo dos contos e das demais formas literárias eleitas por Borges, é desdobrado ao longo desta leitura por meio de dois segmentos: o primeiro se dá no espaço literário aberto por El aleph, no qual o narrador revela ser o escritor da narrativa em processo; o segundo emerge quando se postula a cegueira borgeana como uma metáfora da perda em sua obra, elemento que produz importantes efeitos de leitura. Nessa perspectiva, Édipo em Colono, última tragédia de Sófocles, é tomada como referência a esta investigação: tal como Édipo, Borges está também inscrito em um destino inelutável, relação que, já traçada textualmente pelo próprio autor, aprofunda esta leitura. De forma analógica, esse percurso encontra um lugar teórico relevante para a sua investigação no campo psicanalítico, área do saber que, ao iluminar a posição final do herói trágico, permite uma elaboração consistente quanto ao estatuto da perda na escrita borgeana.

This work investigates the notion of loss as it appears in the constitutive tensions of Jorge Luis Borges' writing. To that end, it focuses on a recurring enunciative position in borgesian oeuvre: in many of his narratives, for example, the past limit-experience is brought to the present time of the enunciation, but paradoxally enought, such a gesture tends only to reassure the inaccessibility of the narrated fact in relation to who enunciates it. This circuit between loss and writing, as it is constitutive of short stories and other literary genres chosen by Borges, is unfolded in this reading through two guiding threads: the first one takes place in the literary space opened with "El aleph", in which the narrator reveals himself as the writer of the narrative in progress; the second emerges when the author's blindness is proposed as a metaphor of loss in his oeuvre, producing reading effects to be taken into account. In this perspective, Oedipus at Colonus, Sophocles' last tragedy, was made a paradigm in this investigation: as Oedipus, Borges also faces an inescapable fate, and once textually established by the author himself, the relation deepens the following reading. In an analogical way, this interpretation path finds in psychoanalytic theory a relevant place for its development, field of knowledge that, by illuminating the tragic hero's final position, enables a consistent elaboration about the loss in borgesian writing.
