Abstract in English
This dissertation is a study about the Brazilian slam and the poetic production of some slammers. In the first chapter, I propose a comparative analysis between the context of the origin of slam in the United States and its development in Brazil, discussing competition, authenticity, game and political assembly. In the second chapter, I address the issue of voice and the split between logos and phone, analyzing the poems "Dog's day", by Pieta Poeta and "Dog's World", by Beto Bellinati. In the third chapter, I discuss representation and gender, approaching the poems "i don't know when stop", by Ana Roxo and "woman of word", by luz ribeiro.
