A presente tese objetiva estudar a produção dramatúrgica inicial de quatro autores brasileiros que surgiram entre fins dos anos 60 e início da década de 70: Antonio Bivar (Cordélia Brasil, Abre a janela e deixa entrar o ar puro e o sol da manhã e Alzira Power), José Vicente (Santidade e O assalto), Roberto Athayde (O reacionário, Um visitante do alto, Manual de sobrevivência na selva, Apareceu a Margarida e No fundo do sítio) e Eid Ribeiro (Delito carnal).O trabalho consta de duas partes que têm por intuito a interlocução entre o geral e o particular, no que diz respeito ao estudo de uma extensa produção. Deste modo, recuperam-se as condições históricas do período que viu surgiu estes criadores, atendo-se, posteriormente, à análise estética dos textos mais emblemáticos dos dramaturgos. Defende-se aqui a idéia de que o surgimento de uma dramaturgia inquieta e inconformada na virada dos anos 60 para a década de 70 está vinculado, por um lado, a um modo de recepção muito particular de inúmeras informações das vanguardas internacionais, da indústria cultural e da contracultura que chegaram ao Brasil e, por outro, a um contexto sócio-político nacional único. Assim, pretende-se contribuir para o reposicionamento da obra destes quatro autores de talento tão singular na história do teatro brasileiro recente

The present thesis intends to study the initial dramaturgical production of four Brazilian authors that showed up between the end of the 60s and the beginning of the 70s: Antonio Bivar (Cordélia Brasil, Abre a janela e deixa entrar o ar puro e o sol da manhã and Alzira Power), José Vicente (Santidade and O assalto), Roberto Athayde (O reacionário, Um visitante do alto, Manual de sobrevivência na selva, Apareceu a Margarida and No fundo do sítio) and Eid Ribeiro (Delito carnal).This work consists of two pieces that propose the interlocution between the general and the particular, concerning the study of a large production. Thus, the historical conditions from the period these creators popped up are recovered, considering, later, the esthetical analysis of the dramatists´ most emblematic texts.Is defended here the idea that the appearance of an uneasy and restless dramaturgy on the turn of the 60s to the 70s is tied, on one hand, with a very particular kind of reception of innumerable information from Internacional vanguards, from cultural industry and from the counterculture that arrived in Brazil and, on the other hand, to an unique social-political context. Thus, is intended to contribute to the relocation of these four authors' workmanship, whose skills are so singular in Brazilian theater's recent history
