Abstract in English
The poetic work of João Cabral de Melo Neto (1920-1999), recognized by compositional balance of form, was widely discussed, throughout the 20th century, through the debate about the anti-lyrism dimension of his compositions. Notably, the production of a rational and assertive poetry is one aspect of the poet's aesthetic project. However, it is necessary to emphasize other elements that are part of his production, such as the presence of subjectivity and the influence of discursive transitivity, which constitutes the Cabrals constructivism in order to unfold the perception of the poetic persona of the objects figured in the compositions. Thus, this work, whose aim is to understand how the communicative appeal of the poems of Quaderna (1960) is constructed, seeks to analyze the ostensible use of the Cuaderna vía. The objective is to demonstrate how the meter is updated in the poems in order to structure them as objects of intersection of the lyrical language with the empirical reality, taking into account the crystallization of the tensions provided by the individual, collective and historical spheres configured by the poetic voices. In this sense, it became possible to verify in the book the articulation between the doubled structure of the poems and Brazilian life in the 1950s, what leads us to the hypothesis that the work promotes the encounter of the two faces, erudite and popular, of the aesthetic project of Duas Águas (1956)
