Abstract in English
Travelling as a symbol of prestige in the Carlo Goldoni's "Villeggiatura" trilogy is the object of the present work. The analysis of some determined passages of each of the three comedies points out the decadence of the Serenissima and shows the continuos efforts of the bourgeois to imitate the nobility social behaviour in the Eighteenth century Venetian society. The translation of the Trilogia della villeggiatura, which will be left at one's disposal, aims to popularize the Venetian dramatist production, whose works are not properly known in Brasil, as we could realize when doing our research
