O presente trabalho analisa a produção dramática de dois autores latino-americanos: um brasileiro (Nelson Rodrigues) e um cubano (Virgílio Pinera). A partir das semelhanças e diferenças entre ambos os dramaturgos, são estudadas as relações entre os diferentes setores do campo intelectual: a literatura e o teatro, os limites do literário e as imagens de escritor que os dois autores projetam. Neste trabalho também é analisada a relação entre corpo e ideologia na dramaturgia de Nelson Rodrigues e Virgílio Pinera, e suas implicações nas conceições sobre o teatro que os dois mantém.

This work analyze the dramatic production of two Latin-American authors: a Brazilian (Nelson Rodrigues) and a Cuban (Virgílio Pinera). From the similarities and differences between both playwrights, are studied the relations between the different areas of the intelectual context: the literature and the theatre, the limits of the literaricy and the writer's images of both authors. This work analyze the relationship between body and ideology in the Nelson Rodrigues' and Virgílio Piñera's plays, and theirs implications in the conceptions about the theatre of both.
