Abstract in English
The aim of this work is to analyze the discourses of the conservative movements Con Mis Hijos No Te Metas (CMHNTM), from Argentina, and Escola Sem Partido (ESP), from Brazil, through the introductory texts written by their members and organized on their Web portals, which we have followed between 2019 and 2022. For this comparative analysis, we adopt the Materialist Discourse Analysis as our theoretical instrument. In our work, we present the Conditions of Production for the emergence of theses discourses in Brazil and in Argentina in the recent years, we analyze the online spaces occupied by the selected discursive sequences, and we study how each movement is introduced and also the designations that name them, with emphasis on the process of construction of the child/student, the State and the teachers subjects as the objects of these discourses. Even though both movements have similar aims - to defend the family authority in children's upbringing and to point out what they consider to be wrong in their countries' school education and educational legislation (CMHNTM reacts to the National Programme of Comprehensive Sexual Education (ESI) 26.150 Law, and ESP tries to modify the Law 9.394/1996, which establishes the Brazilian Education Guidelines and Bases (LDB)) -, we have found regularities and discontinuities between the discourses of these movements since their textualization processes are different. While the first is organized around the family discourse, the second is organized around a discourse of non-partisanship - the former invites for citizen participation, and the latter depends on anonymous complaints and on the suggestion of a Bill of Law.
