Neste trabalho, representações do mito de Orfeu em poemas de R. M. Rilke, G. Trakl e I. Bachmann são investigadas em atenção ao seu caráter poetológico, i. e., a tematizações da própria poesia, de seus atributos e componentes. No mito de Orfeu, distingue-se a figura de um poeta. Através da sua elaboração, podem-se expor em poemas compreensões, ideias de um autor acerca da poesia, de atribuições do poeta, até mesmo, em suas aproximações e distanciamentos em relação a elementos do mito, justificações para seu próprio fazer poético, bem como uma autoimagem do autor enquanto poeta. Busca-se depreender do poema com Orfeu concepções de poesia dos autores, entendimentos sobre a figura do poeta, características poéticas típicas de sua obra em determinado período. Nessa conexão com definições acerca do papel do poeta e da poesia, trata-se também de apreender significados que se atribuem a esse mito na primeira metade do séc. XX, na literatura de língua alemã, a partir de alguns exemplos. No primeiro capítulo, traços do mito de Orfeu são perscrutados em representações suas na Antiguidade. Nos capítulos subsequentes, são analisados poemas de Rilke, Trakl e Bachmann que mencionam Orfeu, tratados na ordem de sua publicação. Nas análises, a elaboração do mito de Orfeu, a caracterização do poeta, predicados vinculados à poesia no poema são ainda contrastados com declarações, formulações do autor em questão sobre poesia em, p. ex., cartas, escritos teóricos, aforismos, marginália, discurso de premiação. Pode-se constatar que em certos poemas de Rilke, Trakl e Bachmann existe também a estilização de outros autores da lírica de língua alemã como Orfeu, a saber, Novalis, Hölderlin e Celan, em confrontação com o qual aspectos da própria poesia e do fazer poético do autor do poema são caracterizados. O mito de Orfeu serve ao tratamento da dicotomia Apolo-Dioniso na arte, bem como da relação entre Dioniso e Cristo. Um mito de Orfeu bastante focalizado é o da catábase. Nas representações do mito, Eurídice recebe um papel central. Ela designa elementos significativos, características da poesia do autor, dinâmicas relativas à produção da sua poesia, aspectos, partes do poeta. Motivos do mito se conjugam com temas elaborados na poesia dos autores, como o olhar e sua conexão com um saber, um (re)conhecimento, e a passagem da poesia, do poeta pelo mundo dos mortos. No que concerne à representação da figura de Orfeu e suas identificações com o poeta, elas comportam ambivalências: em tensão com o mito antigo, os poemas põem em xeque o alcance da poesia, da própria palavra do poeta e sua capacidade de agir sobre uma realidade, mas não deixam de ser homenagens à poesia, afirmações da poesia, de suas possíveis significâncias.

In this research, representations of the Orpheus myth are investigated in poems by R. M. Rilke, G. Trakl and I. Bachmann considering their poetological character, that is, their thematization of poetry, its attributes and aspects. Orpheus is a mythical figure of the poet. The elaboration of the myth by authors its proximity or distance to it can expose their ideas and comprehension of poetry and of the poets attributions. Even a justification of the poetic doing itself or a self-image of the author as a poet can be displayed. This research aims to distinguish, in such poems, authors concepts of poetry, their understanding of the poet figure, typical poetic characteristics of their works. In connection with indications of the poets and poetrys role, it also aims to identify meanings attributed to this myth in the first half of the twentieth century in German literature. The first chapter deals with features of the Orpheus myth in the Antiquity. The following chapters, which analyze poems by Rilke, Trakl and I. Bachmann, are organized according to the sequence of their first publication. In the analyses, the elaboration of the Orpheus myth, the characterization of the poet, characteristics associated with poetry in a poem and statements of its author about poetry expressed in letters, theoretical writings, aphorisms, marginalia, public speaking, etc. are compared. It is possible to verify that Rilke, Trakl and I. Bachmann depict in their poems, in some cases, other lyric authors as Orpheus, namely Novalis, Hölderlin and Celan. It indicates how these figures are significant references to them. However, the analyzed poems show not only a stylization of the author as or identifications with the referred figure but also differences between their poetic doings. The katabasis myth is often emphasized. Eurydice plays a central role in different senses in the poems examined of German Literature. She designates elements, traits of the authors poetry, processes of the poetic production, aspects of the poet. Motifs of the myth correspond to main themes treated in the authors poetry. Examples are the motif of seeing (reflecting the Orpheus motif of looking back) and its connections with knowledge, (re)cognition, and the motif of the passage through the underworld. Furthermore, the Orpheus myth serves to treat the dichotomy Apollon-Dionysus as well as relationships between the Christian Era and the ancient world in the art. Concerning Orpheuss representations and his identifications with the figure of the poet, there are ambivalences: the poems call into question how far poetry can reach, the poets own words, their capacity of affecting a reality; still, they continue to pay homage to poetry, affirmations of its (possible) meanings.
