The goals of this Dissertation are the translation into Brazilian Portuguese of two of the declamations of the 19 comprised in the Declamationes Maiores traditionally attributed to Quintilian, Declamation I, The Wall with Hand Prints (Paries palmatus), and Declamation II, The Blind Man at the Doorstep (Caecus in limine), as well as a study of the two mains characters of both texts, the Blind Man and the Stepmother.
