Abstract in English
The present dissertation, the character of which is essentially propaedeutic, intends to offer the reader a first contact with the Old Church Slavonic language, the first literary language of the Slavs. Thus, we offer a) a brief grammatical sketch, through which we seek to present rudimentary elements of the phonology and morphology of the language, b) the Old Church Slavonic translation of Matthew 5:24 - 6:18 contained in the Codex Marianus, an Old Church Slavonic manuscript dated to the end of the 10th century or the beginning of the 11th century, accompanied by the original Greek text, and a morphological description of all the terms present in both texts. We also offer some syntactical comments to the Slavonic text, comparing it to the Greek whenever it seems relevant. Finally, we present a glossary containing all the terms present in the Slavonic text.
