Abstract in English
It is intended with this study and analysis of plural prefixes in the system of nominal categorization of pepel. The pepel belongs to the Bak subgroup of the Atlantic subfamily of the Niger-Congo trunk. In this system, languages present class morphemes, that is, affixes that determine the genre to which the name belongs and its agreement with the other elements of the sentence. As the Bak group is part of that family, their system also behaves this way. We sought theoretical support in Ndao (2011; 2015) that made the specific description of phonology, morphology and syntax of the pepel and in the works of the authors that describe the nominal classification system of general languages and in particular of African languages, mainly the Niger- Congo family in the Atlantic branch is inserted. Among these authors, Pozniakov (2013), Aikhenvald (2000), and Creissels (1999) stand out. The methodology is qualitative exploratory and based on bibliographic research. Data analysis are based on the prototype models of linguistic cognitivists.
