A presente Dissertação tem por objetivo a elaboração de um glossário de Microeconomia monolíngüe, que está inserido no âmbito de um Projeto mais amplo de elaboração do Dicionário Terminológico da Economia, voltado, especialmente, a alunos de Graduação nessa ciência. Para isso, esta Dissertação foi realizada na perspectiva teórica da Terminologia, que nos permitiu um trabalho efetivo e sistemático a respeito dos termos da Microeconomia. O uso da metodologia de pesquisa em Terminologia permitiu-nos, além da realização do Glossário, uma investigação sistemática dos conceitos e termos da Microeconomia, que resultou na construção de um sistema de conceitos da disciplina e no estudo dos processos de formação de seus termos, enfatizando, sobretudo, o mecanismo de derivação, que nos pareceu de fundamental importância nessa subárea e no estudo terminológico. Sendo assim, este trabalho tem como finalidade não só o auxílio aos estudantes de Graduação em Economia, mas também uma colaboração ao desenvolvimento dos estudos terminológicos, terminográficos e lingüísticos

The present Dissertation aims at the elaboration of a monolingual glossary of Microeconomics, that is inserted in the scope of a broader Project on the elaboration of the Dicionário Terminológico da Economia adressed specially to university students of this science. Thus, this Dissertation was developed under the theoretical perspective of Terminology, wich allowed us an effective and systematic work concerning the terms of Microeconomics. The use of the methodology of research on Terminology allowed us not only to elaborate the Glossary, but also to do a systematic investigation on the concepts and on the terms of Microeconomics, wich resulted in the development of a system of concepts of the discipline and in the study of the processes of word formation, focusing mainly on derivation, wich seemed to us to be of fundamental importance to this field and to the terminological study. Therefore, this paper aims not only at helping university students of Economics, but also at giving a contribution to the terminological, terminographic and linguistic studies
