Essa pesquisa analisa os impactos do discurso patriarcal na construção do sujeito mulher e tem como corpus a HQ A origem do mundo uma história cultural da vagina ou a vulva vs. o patriarcado (2018), de Liv Strömquist. Amparada pela Semiótica discursiva e por estudos dedicados a pensar a questão da mulher na sociedade, como a teoria feminista e alguns estudiosos da antropologia, nos baseamos nos conceitos expostos por Fiorin (1995, 2008, 2016) e Barros (2002, 2005) para investigar as estratégias discursivas da enunciação, como a alternância de debreagens e embreagens para promover o efeito de sentido de verdade, o processo de construção das relações argumentativas e os recobrimentos semânticos que compõem a coerência temática dos temas opressão feminina e inferioridade feminina. Tratamos nesse último aspecto do controle de corpos e da sexualidade feminina, do apagamento semiótico daquilo que se costuma chamar de genitália feminina e da menstruação colocada socialmente enquanto um símbolo de vergonha. Abstraímos, durante o estudo, as formações discursivas e ideológicas que acompanham as isotopias temáticas trazidas na obra e os papéis temáticos que recaem sobre as mulheres. Por último, a partir das ideias de Bakhtin (1988), nos interessamos pelas relações intertextuais e interdiscursivas presentes no corpus . Ao analisar a história das mulheres por meio de recortes da história da humanidade, e a partir dos estudos de Bourdieu (2020), Blikstein (2018, 2020) e Schaff (1974) obtivemos como resultado alguns dos mecanismos utilizados pelo sistema patriarcal para a manutenção da opressão das mulheres: a construção social da diferenciação biológica dos corpos do homem e da mulher serviram de base para uma diferenciação social que coloca o homem enquanto um ser absoluto e a mulher, enquanto o outro; verificamos que a sociedade procura moldar a mulher para que esta atenda a uma demanda social, por isso falamos na pesquisa, com suporte de Beauvoir (2008) sobre tornar-se mulher, pois sua condição social está sempre em construção; inferimos que as violências simbólicas nos discursos sobre a mulher e a forma como a mulher é definida formam os corredores isotópicos dos sujeitos resultando em uma imagem distorcida e estereotipada, reforçando a ideia de superioridade masculina.

This research investigates the impact of patriarchal discourse on the construction of the subject 'woman', and our corpus is the graphic novel "Fruit of Knowledge: The Vulva vs. The Patriarchy", by Liv Strömquist (2018). The foundation for this analysis are discourse semiotics and studies that explore the role of women in society, in the fields of feminist theory and anthropology. From concepts presented by Fiorin (1995, 2008, 2016) and Barros (2002, 2005), we examine the discursive mechanisms that build the effect of meaning of truth and also explore the development of argumentative relations and semantic covers that create the thematic coherence of the narrative's themes of women's oppression and inferiority. In this last aspect, of women's bodies and sexuality, we address the semiotic erasure of what is commonly known as feminine genitalia and menstruation, socially considered as symbols of shame. During this study, we abstracted the discursive and ideological formations that follow thematic isotopies present in the text, as for the thematic roles that fall upon women. Lastly, based on the ideas of Bakhtin (1988), our interest resides on the intertextual and interdiscursive relations present in the corpus. From the analysis of the women's History through excerpts of humanity's History, and also from studies by Bourdieu (2020), Blikstein (2018, 2020) and Schaff (1974), we have found as a result some of the mechanisms employed by the patriarchal system to perpetuate women's oppression, such as: how the social construction of biological differentiations of male and female bodies serves as the foundation for a social differentiation that places the man as an absolute being and the woman as 'the other'; how society shapes women to serve a social demand, a notion we take from Beauvoir (2008), that one becomes a woman, for their social status is always in development; how the symbolic violence present in discourse about women and the manner in which they are characterized create the isotopical frames of subjects, drawing a distorted and stereotypical picture, reinforcing the idea of male superiority.
