Ana Hatherly, formada em filologia germânica, professora da Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FSCH), foi uma importante poetisa do Experimentalismo português - movimento literário que se desenvolveu na segunda metade do século XX e cuja principal característica estética era o experimental nos níveis linguísticos (fonológico, sintático, semântico, etc.) e nos níveis extralinguísticos (como a plasticidade, por exemplo). Esta dissertação tem por objetivo apresentar um estudo da poesia experimental de Ana Hatherly em seu livro Anagramático (HATHERLY, Ana. Um calculador de improbabilidades. Quimera: Portugal, 2001.), através de dispositivos das ciências linguísticas, da retórica e da semiótica. Para fazê-lo, apresenta-se antes uma chave de leitura para os textos do movimento dado que eles exigem um perfil de enunciatário muito específico e um estudo sobre a figura retórica que dá nome ao livro: o anagrama. A partir daí é feita a análise de cada um dos quatro capítulos do livro e do livro enquanto unidade, relacionando-o com seu contexto de produção.

Ana Hatherly, graduated in Germanic philology, professor at the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FSCH), was an important poet of Portuguese Experimentalism - literary movement that developed in the second half of the twentieth century and whose main aesthetic characteristic was the experimental at linguistic levels (phonological, syntactic, semantic, etc.) and at extralinguistic levels (such as plasticity, for example). This dissertation aims to present a study of Ana Hatherly's experimental poetry in Anagramático (HATHERLY, Ana. Um calculador de improbabilidades. Quimera: Portugal, 2001.), through the theories of the linguistic sciences, rhetoric, and semiotics. In order to do so, it is presented a reading key for the texts of the movement - as they require a very specific enunciatory profile - and a study of the rhetorical figure that gives the book its name: the anagram. From there, the analysis of each of the four chapters of the book and the book as a unit is made, relating it to its context of production.
