Esta dissertação visa apresentar uma análise dos discursos de sujeitos com Doença de Alzheimer (DA). A doença está associada ao envelhecimento, pois observa-se um aumento da sua frequência a partir dos 65 anos. O comprometimento da linguagem pode ser classificado em três estágios da neurodegenerescência: leve, quando há alterações no campo semânticolexical- pragmático; moderada, quando ocorrem alterações fonológicas, sintáticas e morfológicas; e a severa, em que há prejuízo nas habilidades linguísticas, por vezes ocasionando o mutismo. O objetivo geral é investigar discursos de idosos portadores da DA e idosos saudáveis, segundo a perspectiva sociocognitiva e interacionista, articulados com a abordagem enunciativo-discursiva da linguagem, com o intuito de averiguar a referenciação da linguagem dos idosos em relação aos processos de construção de significados. As entrevistas coletadas foram feitas com 15 idosos, a partir de diagnósticos dos estágios inicial e moderado da doença, com participantes que moram em instituições de longa permanência e com os que vivem com seus familiares. O intuito foi observar como a linguagem e cognição dos idosos, por meio de distintos estímulos cognitivos, podiam dar respostas diferentes em cada relato, sendo o mesmo quadro clínico no que concerne ao fator patológico e considerando o aspecto social. Intencionou-se verificar como isso poderia influenciar suas respostas, construindo diálogos sobre passado, presente e futuro, sob a perspectiva do processo de construção de significado do idoso em seu envelhecimento. Para tanto, dividiu-se em três aspectos de análise: funcional, estrutural e cognitivo. Os resultados apontam que os discursos dos sujeitos com DA são marcados predominantemente pela alteração da linguagem, da autopercepção, do transtorno de despersonalização em estágios mais avançados, eventos ecolálicos, disfluência na fala, além de um número significativo maior de quebras comunicativas em relação ao sujeito saudável e com maior tempo de pausas nas falas. Por fim, os discursos dos sujeitos da pesquisa demonstraram o percurso dos processos de referenciação na construção social, em que foram considerados os aspectos discursivos, pragmáticos, cognitivos e interativos.

This dissertation aims to present an analysis of the discourses of individuals who have Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is comprised of cognitive and behavioral changes that alter daily social practices, being associated with aging, with an increase in its frequency from the age of 65. Language impairment can be classified into three stages of neurodegeneration: mild, when there are changes in the semantic-lexical-pragmatic field; moderate, when phonological, syntactic, and morphological alterations occur; and the severe, in which language skills are impaired, sometimes causing mutism. The general objective is to investigate the discourses of older adults with Alzheimer's disease and healthy older persons, according to a sociocognitive and interactionist perspective, articulated with the enunciativediscursive approach to language, with the aim of investigating the referencing of the older persons language in relation to the processes of construction of meanings. The interviews collected were from 15 older adults of with diagnoses of the initial and moderate stages of the disease, with participants who live in long term care homes Residential Care for the Older Adults and with those who live with their families. The aim was to observe how the language and cognition of the older persons, through different cognitive stimuli, could give different answers in each report, with the same clinical picture regarding the pathological factor and considering the social aspect. We intend to verify how this could influence their answers, building dialogues about the past, present, and future, from the perspective of the process of construction of meaning of the older adults in their aging process. It was divided into three aspects of analysis, namely: I) functional; II) structural; III) cognitive. The results show that the speeches of individuals with the Alzheimer's Disease are predominantly marked by language alteration, self-perception, depersonalization disorder in more advanced stages, echolalic events, speech dysfluency, a significantly greater number of communicative breaks in relation to the healthy individual and with longer pauses in speech. Finally, the research individuals' speeches demonstrated the course of the referencing processes in the social construction, in which were considered the discursive, pragmatic, cognitive and interactive aspects.
