Essas novas tecnologias abrem um novo campo de questões sobre a maneira pela qual os meios de comunicação de massa constroem suas narrativas e as difundem em escala planetária. The Gulf War (January / February, 1991) announced a new moment in the history of the media, marked by the impact of the new mass communication technologies - installation of planetary nets linked by satellite, techniques of digitization of images, computerized systems of data transmission. Those new technologies opened a new set of questions on how the broadcastings companies build their narratives and diffuse them in planetary scale. The objective of this work is to discuss the historian's relationship with this new field of practices and possibilities
