Esta tese se propõe a investigar o pensamento político da FRELIMO entre os anos de 1962 a 1980 a partir dos textos que compuseram os três volumes da Antologia da poesia de combate. Enquanto uma produção conectada ao movimento de libertação nacional, nosso objetivo foi compreender de que forma essa literatura estruturou uma narrativa sobre a luta armada e quais elementos desse discurso foram projetados após a independência. A investigação toca em elementos ligados ao colonialismo português e compreende a literatura como uma das formas de resistência empreendidas contra essa estrutura de dominação colonial. É estabelecida uma reflexão sobre a importância dos poemas de combate como espaço ideológico da escrita da revolução e projeto de construção do Estado-nacional. A partir das análises dos textos poéticos, foi possível perceber quais categorias ligadas a esse pensamento assumiram maior relevância em determinados momentos históricos e quais foram as permanências e transformações operadas no discurso nacionalista da FRELIMO ao longo do tempo. As reflexões oriundas desse trabalho nos permitem compreender como a narrativa literária representou e atuou na legitimação de um projeto político em Moçambique

This thesis aims at investigating the political thinking of FRELIMO between 1962 and 1980 on the texts that composed the three volumes of Antology of combat poetry. As a product connected to the national liberation movement, our goal was to understand how this literature structured a narrative about the armed struggle and what elements of this speech became projects after the independence. The investigation touches elements connected to the portuguese colonialism and it understands literature as a way of resistance against this structure of colonial dominance. It stablishes a reflection over the importance of combat poems as an ideological space to the writing of the revolution and as a project for the construction of the national State. The analyses of the poems revealed which categories connected to this thinking were more relevant during certain historical moments. It also showed which were the permanences and transformations operated by the nationalist discourse of FRELIMO over the time. The reflections herein presented allow us to understand how the literary narrative represented and worked on the legitimation of a political Project in Mozambique
