During Vargas government, through a political project of nationalization, it was undertaken a systematic action against foreign communities established in São Paulo State trying to avoid the concentration and undo the cultural bows considered against the racial homogenization in order to create a Brazilian nation with a strong cultural and racial identity. From 1937 because of the New State there was an increase of repressive practices and the control of German communities. Hundred of Jewish ermans refugee in Brazil due to the Nazi and after 1942 when Brazil went to the war with the allied they were stigmatized as "axie vassals" and they became suspects.
