Procedemos à leitura do projeto dialógico de mediação histórica na hermenêutica filosófica de Hans-Georg Gadamer em três movimentos. No primeiro, enfrenta-se o artifício moderno do projeto monádico da subjetividade em nome da finitude e da historicidade da existência. Ao longo da segunda parte deste estudo, vemos que o ser é histórico por desafiar o curso estável do pensamento, ao suportar o desvio das expectativas com que se marca o perguntar. Aqui reconhecemos como a efetuação da história \Wirkungsgeschichte\ é puro ato de mediação. No terceiro movimento, caminhamos por uma via oposta, em que a pesquisa histórica estimula um certo prolongamento necessário das reflexões hermenêuticas gadamerianas, já que a historicidade não é um dado do mundo circundante \Umwelt\, mas a forma humana de compreensão de si, do mundo [Welt\. Assim, a tarefa da história se recoloca a cada dia, pois o sentido da matéria é a forma humana presente dos resíduos das experiências do passado

This work proposes a three-part reading of the dialogical project of historical mediation in the hermeneutic philosophy of Hans-Georg Gadamer. The First part of the study approaches the modern artífice of the monadic project of subjectivity from the standpoint of finitude and the historicity of existence. The second part examines how the being is historical exactly because it challenges the stable course of thought, enduring the departure from expectations that unfolds from the act of questioning. It is here discussed how the effectuation of history is a pure act of mediation. The third part ventures a diverse track by further developing the Gadamerian hermeneutic reflection through the stimulus of historical research, once historicity is not presupposed in the surrounding world, but the human form of self- and world-understanding. Thus, the task of history is redefined day after day, for the meaning of matter is the present human form of the residues of past experiences
