Title in Portuguese
Resistência silenciosa no AI-5: a luta imediata do trabalhador no interior do Estado de São Paulo registrada em processos trabalhistas (1968-1978)
Keywords in Portuguese
Luta de Classes
Mundo do Trabalho
Resistência silenciosa

Abstract in English
From the analysis of labor lawsuit, the research intends to verify the practices of Silent Resistance triggered by workers in the interior of the State of São Paulo, during the term of Institutional Act number 5 of the military Brazilian dictatorship, that is, in the period between the years 1968 and 1978. The aim is to analyze actions such as aggression against superiors, thefts, destruction of machines or tools, absenteeism and acts of mischief in general from the classist perspective, that is, to verify to what extent the actions of Silent Resistance are the result of dilution of the class struggle in everyday social practices or, otherwise, whether these prosaic actions present themselves as ways of demonstrating discontent with the organization of production or correcting something believed to be unfair, a kind of undeclared form of resist exploitation of the workforce. Hence the name "Silent Resistance".
