A presente pesquisa objetiva analisar o discurso e as ações da principal instância decisória do poder Executivo durante o Governo de Eurico Gaspar Dutra (1946-1950), no tocante a elaboração das políticas econômicas: Ministério da Fazenda. Ao longo deste governo três diferentes ministros foram responsáveis por esta pasta, articulando, anunciando e implementando medidas econômicas que estiveram condicionadas pelas expectativas e demandas da sociedade brasileira, principalmente pelas frações das classes dominantes, que se articularam em 1945 e deram sustentação a este governo. A instabilidade política e social do período também interferiu dessas políticas econômicas, que caracterizaram-se por ações de conteúdo emergencial e pela ausência de um plano econômico estrutura

This present search want to analise the speech and the actions of the main decision instancy of the executive power during the governament of Eurico Dutra (1946-1950), moving to the elaboration of politicals economicals: the Ministry of Finance.During this governament three diferents ministers were responsables for this duty, articulation, enuciation and implement economical measures that were conditioned by expectancy of brazilian society, principally by the fraction of dominant classes, that were articulated in 1945 and gave support to this governament.
