O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar o Governo paulista de João Carlos Augusto Oeynhausen (1819-1821). Perceber como as mudanças promovidas pelo avanço do pensamento liberal na virada do século XVIII para o XIX tiveram consequências para a administração colonial na Província de São Paulo. Buscar as principais linhas de atuação deste governo e como ele deu contribuições para estruturar o projeto da Família Real no Brasil. E por fim, investigar como a liderança de Oeynhausen na administração paulista contribuiu para construção da base de apoio político que sustentou o príncipe regente D.Pedro

This paper aims to analyze the Government of São Paulo under João Carlos Augusto Oeynhausen (1819-1821). Understand how the changes promoted by the advance of liberal thought at the turn of the 18th to the 19th century had consequences for the colonial administration in the Province of São Paulo. Search the main lines of action of this government and how it contributed to structure the project of the Royal Family in Brazil. And finally, to investigate how the leadership of Oeynhausen in the administration of São Paulo contributed to the construction of the base of political support that supported the Prince Regent D. Pedro I
