Neste trabalho, abordam-se as lutas camponesas no cercamento do médio Xingu para a construção da hidrelétrica Belo Monte, no Pará. Parte-se da perspectiva de que a construção dessa hidrelétrica constitui um processo capitalista, espacialmente violento e contraditório, no interior do qual emergem lutas camponesas na terra e pelo território. Objetivando refletir sobre como essas lutas vinha sendo travadas na área dessa hidrelétrica, a investigação avança em duas frentes. Por um lado, aborda-se a luta de camponeses para permanecer na terra contraditoriamente obtida da empresa Norte Energia S.A, nos reassentamentos rurais (Reassentamento Rural Coletivo RRC, Reassentamento Áreas Remanescentes - RAR) instalados no município de Vitória do Xingu. A luta nesses reassentamentos é, essencialmente, pela reprodução na terra. Mesmo sendo reconhecidamente conhecidos pela criatividade, os camponeses têm enfrentado muitas dificuldades para se especializar em suas unidades de produção-consumo. Essas dificuldades são variadas, envolvendo desde problemas de obtenção de água para consumo até a obtenção de renda. No RRC, essas dificuldades são mais sentidas, contribuindo para o expressivo abandono dos lotes. Por outro lado, investiga-se a luta de camponeses ao lado de famílias indígenas, que depois de expulsos das ilhas e margens do Xingu, buscam reconquistar frações do território capitalista cercado pelo hidronegócio nos municípios de Vitória do Xingu, Altamira e Brasil Novo. Esta luta pelo território decorre da deterioração das condições de vida desses grupos sociais e do forte pertencimento territorial que têm em relação ao espaço ribeirinho. Trata-se de uma luta que já lançou contradições na política compensatória da Norte Energia S.A, possibilitando o retorno de uma parte dos camponeses e indígenas ao reservatório da UHE Belo Monte, mas ainda para uma espécie de espaço prisão, onde praticamente não têm terra, nem liberdade para produzir. Por isso, essa luta continua visando a conquista do que chamam de territórios ribeirinhos. Em face dessas constatações, verifica-se que as condições para que os camponeses retomem suas formas de reprodução i-material no espaço cercado pelo hidronegócio no rio Xingu, dependem muito mais das lutas camponesas do que da política compensatório da empesa.

In this work, are discussed the peasant struggles in the enclosure of the middle Xingu, for the construction of the Belo Monte hydropower plant, in Pará. It starts from the perspective of that the construction of this hydroelectric constitutes a capitalist process, violent and space contradictory, in the interior of which fights emerge peasants in the land and for the territory. Objectifying to reflect on as these struggles they come being fought in the area of this hydroelectric, the inquiry advances in two fronts. On the other hand, it is approached fight of peasants to remain in the land contradictorily gotten of the company Norte Energia S.A, in rural resettlement (Collective Rural Resettlement RRC, Resettlement of Remnant Areas - RAR) installed in the municipality of Vitória do Xingu. The fight in these resettlements is essentially, for the reproduction in the land. Exactly being admittedly known for the creativity, the peasants have faced many difficulties to specialize themselves in its units of production-consumption. These difficulties are varied, involving since problems of water attainment for consumption until the income attainment. In RRC, these difficulties are more sensible, contributing to the expressive abandonment of the lots. On the other hand, the struggle of peasants is investigated alongside indigenous families who, after being expelled from the islands and shores of the Xingu, seek to reconquer fractions of the capitalist territory surrounded by the hydro-business in the municipalities of Vitória do Xingu, Altamira and Brasil Novo. This struggle for the territory elapses of the deterioration of the conditions of life of these social groups and of the strong territorial belonging that have in relation to the marginal space. It is treated to a fight that already launched contradictions in the compensatory politics of Norte Energia S.A, making possible the return of a part of the peasants and aboriginals to the reservoir of the UHE Beautiful Mount, but still for a species of prison space, where they practically do not have land, nor freedom to produce. Therefore, this struggle continues, aiming at the conquest of what they call riparian territories. In view of these findings, it is verified that the conditions so that the peasants retake its forms of i-material reproduction in the space surrounded for the hydropower in the river Xingu, depend much more peasant struggles than on the company's compensatory policy.
