Abstract in English
This work approaches the women migration process from different Brazilian regions to the periphery of São Paulo, between the decades of 1950 and 1960, seeking for better life conditions. This process was analyzed from the perspective of work mobility, comprehending the movement within the national territory as a way of selling the workforce and understanding the role of the peripheric women in the capitalist society as oriented towards the family care as a manner of production and reproduction of life. Taking as a start point their life experience, we seek to understand the everyday life connecting it to the process of purchasing their own house, financed by the National Housing Bank (BNH), created in the 1970s, during the Brazilian Military Dictatorship
