O trabalho tem por objetivo analisar como a agricultura urbana pode ser um instrumento transformador do cotidiano na busca por pensar e construir um mundo pós-capitalista e, ao mesmo tempo, analisar a implementação do programa Hortas e Viveiros da Comunidade, sob o olhar do impacto do Estado (governo municipal) na agricultura urbana de São Paulo. Portanto, partimos para a análise do programa Hortas e Viveiros da Comunidade e das experiências de sete projetos atendidos, a fim de verificar, na prática, como ocorreu a implementação do referido programa, o papel dos funcionários públicos da linha de frente e o impacto na agricultura urbana de São Paulo. Como resultado, constatamos que a presença do Estado na agricultura urbana se torna essencial, ainda que a prática surja e se reproduza de forma autônoma pelas comunidades. Além disso, constatamos uma estreita relação entre agricultura urbana e transformação cotidiana da mentalidade moderno-capitalista e do espaço urbano, bem como da expressão da campesinidade dos sujeitos. Como método, procuramos tomar o marginal (incluso nessa perspectiva tanto olhar para áreas periféricas quanto para o "não-visto" dentro dos projetos) como central, que consiste em três etapas: 1) descritivo das relações sociais; 2) analítico-reflexivo, desvendando os "tempos históricos" das relações sociais; e 3) histórico-genérico, no qual o pesquisador retorna ao presente, observando que as contradições sociais são históricas e intrínsecas ao sistema capitalista. Como metodologia, além da revisão bibliográfica de livros, artigos e relatórios de organizações renomadas, realizamos entrevistas com os servidores da Secretaria Municipal de Desenvolvimento Econômico e do Trabalho (SMDET), responsável pelo programa municipal, e com os sujeitos dos projetos de agricultura urbana. A partir das experiências estudadas, pudemos constatar que a agricultura urbana vem sendo fundamental para os sujeitos que a integram como uma forma de repensar seu imaginário urbano e discutir outro mundo possível. Ainda, pudemos olhar para como, pela agricultura urbana, "tempos históricos" distintos existem e se encontram, com o modo de vida tradicional (não-moderno) sendo produzido e reproduzido mesmo dentro do modo de vida moderno-capitalista, através da campesinidade e da construção dos espaços em torno de outra relação espaço-temporal. Foi focando nestas relações e no papel imprescindível do "homem comum" de Martins (2010) que analisamos o papel da agricultura urbana tanto como sintoma da incompletude do modo de vida moderno-capitalista quanto como sinal de que é também no cotidiano que as transformações sociais acontecem.

The objective of this work is to study how urban agriculture can be a transformer instrument of everyday life in the way to think and build a post-capitalist world and, at the same time, to study the implementation of the Hortas e Viveiros da Comunidade's program, under the impact of the State (municipal government) in urban agriculture in São Paulo. Therefore, we started with the implementation of the Hortas e Viveiros da Comunidade's program, and the experiences of seven projects attended, for analyze, in practice, how was the implementation of the program, the role of public workers of the front line and the impact on urban agriculture in São Paulo. As a result, it appears that the presence of the State in urban agriculture becomes essential, even in autonomous practice that emerges from communities. Furthermore, we found a close relationship between agriculture and the everyday life transformation of the modern-capitalist mentality and the urban space, as well as the expression of the urban peasantry of the subjects. As a method, we seek to take the marginal (including in this perspective both looking at peripheral areas and the "unseen" within the projects) as central, which consists of three steps: 1) descriptive of social relations; 2) analytical-reflective, revealing the historical times of social relations; and 3) historical-generic, in which the researcher returns to the present, observing that social contradictions are historical and intrinsic to the capitalist system. As methodology, in addition to the bibliographic review of books, articles, and reports from renowned organizations, we conducted interviews with the employees of the Municipal Secretariat for Economic and Labor Development (SMDET), responsible for the municipal program, and with the subjects of urban agriculture projects. From the experiences studied, we could see that urban agriculture has been fundamental for the subjects that integrate it as a way of rethinking their urban imaginary and discussing another possible world. Furthermore, we could analyze how, in urban agriculture, different historical times exist and meet, with traditional (non-modern) time being produced and reproduced even within modern-capitalist time, through peasantry and the construction of spaces around another space-time relationship. It focused on these relationships and on the essential role of the Martins' (2010) "common man" that we that we analyze the role of urban agriculture both as a symptom of the incompleteness of the modern-capitalist way of life and as a sign that social transformations happen also in everyday life.
