Esta tese se propõe a estudar a evolução do lugar no limiar do Período Popular da história. O lugar é assumido como um conceito e uma categoria de análise da Geografia, entendido como o espaço do acontecer solidário e dimensão espacial na qual se vivencia o cotidiano. Por se constituir apenas no presente o lugar é fugaz, efêmero, dinâmico, e pode ser considerado a alteridade do espaço geográfico. Assim, para compreender o presente é preciso acompanhar a dinâmica dos lugares. O lugar tem um conteúdo ou um sentido ético, consciente, com repertório e anárquico. A tese aqui defendida discorre sobre o lugar como a dimensão da política: porque lugar é ação. A constituição de lugares como resistência às desigualdades socioespaciais revela que tanto se constituíram como manifestações de rua, protestos, moradores de rua, ou na própria vivência em localidades como as favelas de São Paulo. Do processo limiar do Período Popular da história surge a constituição de lugares como resistência orgânica às desigualdades socioespaciais, por exemplo, os lugares constituídos pelo grupo Posse Poder e Revolução, situado na Zona Sul da megalópole paulista. Atualmente, o mundo vivencia um contexto de guerra da informação, que na conjuntura brasileira, veio se acentuar nas manifestações de junho de 2013, levando ao golpe midiático-jurídico-institucional de 2016 e se refletindo nas eleições de 2018. O celular multifuncional é o objeto que empiriciza a difusão do meio técnico-científico-informacional, ampliando sua propagação: porque tornou-se uma prótese dos corpos humanos. A partir da redutibilidade entre a psicoesfera e tecnoesfera, e por meio delas as mídias sociais exercem um papel determinante e trazem o futuro como âncora. Mas há o risco da constituição dos lugares autômatos, pois ainda que o uso das mídias sociais seja um dado do presente com vistas à construção de um futuro, a política é vivida e praticada apenas através dos lugares. Os lugares virtuais, constituídos pelo uso das plataformas digitais se dão pela informação, por copresença e coexistência. Então, a política é exercida (firmada) tanto pela presença e praticada pelos lugares, uma vez que a política é corpo a corpo, é contato, mas também pela constituição dos lugares virtuais. Pois, os lugares são as ações que se constituem entre os sujeitos e objetos, presencial e virtualmente, na vivência do cotidiano, vividos e exercidos no presente, experimentados.

This thesis proposes to study the evolution of the place in the history Popular Period threshold. In Geography, the place is undertaken as a concept and a category of analysis. It is understood as the space where solidarity happens, as well as the spatial dimension in which one experiences daily life. Once it is constituted only in the present, the place is fleeting, ephemeral, dynamic, and it can be considered the otherness of the geographical space. Thus, in order to understand the present, one must pay attention to the dynamics of the places. The place has an ethical and conscious content, it is anarchic and has a repertoire. Therefore, the present thesis discusses on the place as subject of politics: once place implies action. The constitution of places as resistance to social and spatial inequalities reveals that they were constituted through street manifestations, protests, homeless people, as well as through the experience itself, in localities like the slums in São Paulo. From the boundary process of the Popular Period of history, the constitution of places emerges as organic resistance to social and spatial inequalities, for example, the places constituted by the group "Possession Power and Revolution", in the South Zone of São Paulo. Currently, the world go through an information warfare. In Brazil conjuncture, it was enhanced by street demonstrations in June 2013, leading to a media-legal-institutional coup, and being reflected on the elections in 2018. The cell phone multifunctional is an object that empiricizes the diffusion of the technical-scientific-informational medium, increasing its propagation: it has become a prosthesis of the human bodies. From the reducibility between the psychosphere and technosphere, and through them, the social media play a determining role and bring the future as an anchor. But there is a risk: the constitution of automaton places, because even though the use of social media is a current event, aiming at building a future, politics is experienced and practiced only through the places. Virtual places, constituted by the use of digital platforms, have its existence given by information, by co-presence and coexistence. Thus, politics is exerted (established) both by the presence _ practiced by the places, since politics is personal contact _ and by the constitution of virtual places. Because the places are the actions that are constituted between the subjects and objects, in person and virtually, in daily experience, lived and exerted in the present, experienced.
