O objetivo desta tese é observar qual é a posição dos livros no Meio Técnico-Científico-Informacional. Quais são as implicações das tecnologias da informação sobre o modo como os seres humanos se relacionam com o Mundo, em seu caráter ontológico. Relação essa entendida aqui como Leitura do Mundo. O que constitui as informações. Qual o papel que a leitura, a escrita e a produção de livros impressos exerceram sobre o Espaço Geográfico, portanto, do Ser Humano. A instalação e uso de novos objetos técnicos de comunicação, mais especificamente os smartphones, exercem sobre o acesso dos conteúdos editoriais (livros). Qual é o contexto de produção econômica que as infraestruturas de internet e uso dos celulares? Propõe-se o conceito de mais-valia cognitiva para compreender o modo como as informações interferem no uso do território, no espaço banal e se transformam em novas formas de exploração do ser humano no Espaço Geográfico.

The purpose of this thesis is to observe what is the position of books in the Technical-Scientific-Informational Environment. What are the implications of information technologies on the way human beings relate to the world, in its ontological character. This relationship is understood here as Reading the World. What constitutes information. What role did reading, writing and the production of printed books play on the Geographic Space, therefore, of the Human Being. The installation and use of new technical communication objects, more specifically smartphones, exercise access to editorial content (books). What is the context of economic production that the internet infrastructures and the use of cell phones? The concept of cognitive surplus value is proposed to understand how information interferes in the use of territory, in banal space and is transformed into new forms of exploitation of the human being in the Geographic Space.
