O objetivo da pesquisa é compreender o processo de reestruturação do espaço urbano/industrial do Arranjo Produtivo Local da Moda Íntima, de Nova Friburgo, localizado no estado do Rio de Janeiro, relacionando o processo de reestruturação produtiva, que recentemente se manifesta a partir de políticas públicas e ações privadas ligadas às teorias de desenvolvimento local, à transformação do espaço urbano e à organização do mundo do trabalho. Nesse processo podemos identificar dois fenômenos: a flexibilização das relações de trabalho e a fragmentação da produção. Neste movimento há a consequente explosão do fenômeno urbano em escala regional. Definimos, portanto, como objeto de pesquisa, as fases do processo de reestruturação produtiva do espaço urbano e industrial do município de Nova Friburgo, em relação ao Arranjo Produtivo Local de moda íntima. Arranjos Produtivos Locais são aglomerações de empresas, localizadas em um mesmo território, que apresentam especialização produtiva e mantêm vínculos de articulação, interação, cooperação e aprendizagem entre si e com outros atores locais, tais como: governo, associações empresariais, instituições de crédito, ensino e pesquisa. Existe uma vasta literatura nacional e internacional sobre o fenômeno da aglomeração de empreendimentos de uma mesma atividade produtiva em uma determinada região geográfica. Há muitas denominações e ênfases diferentes de se investigar este fenômeno. Tendo em vista o objetivo acima apresentado, o processo de reestruturação produtiva, as transformações no mundo do trabalho, na indústria e no espaço urbano, estabelecemos o problema da pesquisa partindo da premissa que o município de Nova Friburgo passa por um processo de reestruturação urbana e industrial, que gera uma ruptura e fases de reestruturação da forma de ação e organização do capital. Portanto, estabelecemos como problema a seguinte pergunta: qual a relação entre o Processo de Reestruturação Produtiva do Espaço Urbano e Industrial do Arranjo Produtivo Local de Nova Friburgo, a explosão do fenômeno urbano em escala regional e a flexibilização/fragmentação da produção e do mundo do trabalho? A hipótese apresentada é a de que o município de Nova Friburgo passa por um processo de reestruturação urbana e industrial estimulada e financiada por empresas privadas e políticas públicas ligadas às teorias de desenvolvimento local. Este processo intensifica a explosão do fenômeno urbano, que tem como características um alcance regional e uma materialização desigual, reorganiza a produção do espaço urbano/industrial e transforma a natureza do trabalho, fragmentando-o e flexibilizando-o.

This research aims to comprehend the restructuring process of the urban/industrial space from the Underwear Local Productive Arrangements, in Nova Friburgo, a city in the state of Rio de Janeiro. It also intends to link the process of productive restructuring - which recently manifests itself through public policy and actions connected to theories of local development - to the transformation of the urban space and the organization of the labor environment. In this process, two phenomena can be identified: the flexibilization of work relations and the dissolution of the production. There is, consequently, the burst of the urban phenomenon on a regional scale in this movement. Therefore, the phases of the productive restructuring of the urban and industrial space of Nova Fribrurgo were defined as this research object, regarding the Underwear Local Production Arrangements. Local Productive Arrangement is a gathering of companies in the same region, which presents specialized production and keeps bonds of articulation, interaction, cooperation, and apprenticeship between itself and other local agents, such as government, business associations, lending, education, and research institutions. There is extensive national and international literature about the agglomeration of enterprises with the same productive activity in a determined geographic locality. This phenomenon can be studied through different designations and perspectives. Owing to the previously mentioned objective, the premise that Nova Friburgo city goes through a process of urban and industrial reestablishment settled the problem statement of this research. This process develops a rupture and the reconstitution phases of the action and organization of the capital. Thus, the problem statement was set accordingly to this question: what is the relation between the process of productive restructuring of the urban and industrial of the local production arrangement from Nova Friburgo, the burst of the urban phenomenon on a regional scale and the adjustment/ flexibilization of the production and the labor field? The presented hypothesis is that Nova Friburgo city is going through a process of urban and industrial adjustment financed by private companies and public policy connected to local development theories. The urban phenomenon burst is intensified by this process, which has as its characteristics the regional reach and unequal attainment. It also reorganizes the urban/industrial space and transforms the nature of the work, fragmenting and flexibilizing it.
