Na presente Tese pretende-se investigar a coerência da filosofia política ricoeuriana mediante a articulação dos conceitos de sabedoria prática, ideologia, utopia, perdão e justiça a partir de pressupostos implícitos e subjacentes no arquipélago de textos que se encontram compilados em suas obras. Assim posto, o problema deste trabalho é o seguinte: Há uma filosofia política em Paul Ricoeur? Se sim, é possível articulá-la em torno dos conceitos de sabedoria prática, ideologia, utopia, perdão e justiça? A hipótese que norteia esse trabalho é que há uma filosofia política em Paul Ricoeur e que é possível articulá-la em torno dos conceitos de sabedoria, prática e justiça, cujas pistas estão presentes desde as suas primeiras leituras em torno ao político e que nos permitem compreender as suas preocupações posteriores. O presente trabalho está estruturado em três capítulos, a saber: o primeiro capítulo, intitulado "As primeiras leituras ricoeurianas em torno do político (1934-1969)", tem por objetivo apresentar os primeiros esboços das leituras de uma filosofia política ricoeuriana de inspiração fenomenológica em uma sequência de textos publicados em 1957, de modo especial, "Le paradoxe politique", que determinou a continuação de sua incursão no campo da filosofia política; o segundo capítulo, intitulado "Leituras ricoeurianas sobre ideologia e utopia", consiste em revisitar as leituras ricoeurianas sobre o entrecruzamento necessário entre ideologia e utopia na estrutura essencialmente conflitiva do imaginário social e cultural ao longo do itinerário filosófico; o terceiro capítulo, intitulado "Leituras ricoeurianas sobre perdão e justiça" (1995-2000), caracterizará o "perdão" e o "justo" como a promessa de uma vida feliz e a aplicação de regras que evitam o pior, cuja tensão encontra sua resolução na "sabedoria prática". No seu conjunto, notar-se-á que os capítulos estão de certo modo independentes entre si, embora persigam o propósito análogo de apresentar conceitos fundamentais para compreensão de uma filosofia política em Paul Ricoeur.

This Thesis intends to investigate the coherence of Ricoeurian political philosophy through the articulation of the concepts of practical wisdom, ideology, utopia, forgiveness, and justice from implicit and underlying assumptions in the archipelago of texts that are compiled in his works. With this in mind, the issue of this work is the following: Is there a political philosophy in Paul Ricoeur? If there is, it is possible to articulate it around the concepts of practical wisdom, ideology, utopia, forgiveness, and justice? The hypothesis that guides this work is that there is a political philosophy in Paul Ricoeur and that it is possible to articulate it around the concepts of wisdom, practice and justice, whose clues are present since his first readings about the political, and that allow us to understand his concerns later. The present work is divided into three chapters, namely: the first chapter, entitled "The first Ricoeurian readings on politics (1934-1969)", aims to present the first sketches of the readings of a phenomenologically inspired Ricoeurian political philosophy in a sequence of texts published during this period, in particular, "Le paradoxe politique", which determined the continuation of his incursion into the field of political philosophy; the second chapter, entitled "Ricoeurian readings on ideology and utopia", consists of revisiting the Ricoeurian readings on the necessary intersection between ideology and utopia in the essentially conflicting structure of social and cultural imaginary along the philosophical itinerary; the third chapter, entitled "Ricoeurian readings on forgiveness and justice", will characterize "forgiveness" and "just" as the promise of a happy life and the application of rules that avoid the worst, whose tension finds its resolution in "practical wisdom". It will be noted that although the chapters are independent from each other, they pursue the analogous purpose of presenting fundamental concepts for the understanding of a political philosophy in Paul Ricoeur.
