A hipótese do alargamento referida ao projeto crítico de Kant intenta problematizar o seu tradicional sentido enquanto delimitação, compreendendo-o para além de uma propedêutica ao conhecimento doutrinal. Trata-se, portanto, de perceber as brechas pelas quais seria possível transpassar esse sentido tradicional e defender que a crítica em especial realiza a ampliação nas bordas subjetivas dos campos e dos interesses da razão. Na parte I, notamos que a crítica moderna, mesmo antes de Kant, amplia-se para diferentes direções, criando no meio intelectual polêmicas sobre os limites dessa pretensa arte. Misturada com as questões técnicas, a disputa favorece também a ideia do público que julga e de uma época da crítica pontos de partida fundamentais para C1. A parte II, mais detida às três Críticas, caracteriza como a resposta, inicialmente dirigida a um problema escolar, amadureceu projetando as raízes do a priori em vista do espraiamento do poder de necessidade, que antes das doutrinas, serve diretamente às faculdades do ânimo nos limites da subjetividade, a saber, ao pensar, ao querer e ao sentir. À luz dessas duas partes, desejamos montar uma acepção de crítica em Kant que, sem negligenciar o poder de seu formalismo, expanda com rigorosidade e também flexibilidade as margens do que podemos chamar de racional

Our hypothesis about enlargement being an important meaning for Kant's critical project intends to problematize its traditional sense of delimitation and to overcome its interpretation as a propaedeutic to doctrinal knowledge. In this way, it is a matter of perceiving the gaps through which it would be possible to cross this traditional meaning in order to defend that criticism expands the subjective edges of the fields of reason. In part I, we discuss how modern criticism even before Kant extends itself in different directions and engenders polemics in the intellectual milieu about the limits of this so-called art. Mixed with technical issues, the dispute also favors two ideas that are at the starting point for KrV: the idea of the judging public and the idea of an age of criticism. In part II, more focused on the three Critiques, we explore the maturing of an answer that goes beyond a school problem to project the roots of the a priori representations in view of the spreading of the power of necessity, thus directly serving the faculties of the mind in the limits of subjectivity, namely, thought, desire and feeling. In the light of these two parts, we want to build a sense of criticism in Kant that, without neglecting the power of his formalism, expands with rigor and flexibility the margins of what we can qualify as rational.
