Abstract in English
This work undertakes a global interpretation of Étienne Bonnot de Condillac's philosophy from the point of view of a symbolic technique. It seeks to approach this general method in the face of the historical developments which condition it as well as to make explicit the continuous dialogue which the author maintains between disciplines, authors and eras for the elaboration of his thought. Condillac's philosophy has encyclopedic pretensions and aims to collect the entire range of human knowledge from a collective and technical perspective of its production. This sensualism, which develops as a general grammar and prefigures a semiotics, proves to be an important step in the history of disciplinary divisions since it aims to establish a single methodological foundation for all human knowledge. Such a foundation will be found in the use of signs, understood in broad generality, and will be regarded as a condition for the production and improvement of human knowledge in all fields of application, from physics to psychology, from grammar to history, from the mechanical arts to mathematics, from anthropology to political economy.
