Esta pesquisa busca contribuir para os debates a respeito das relações entre movimentos sociais e política institucional. Para tanto, deteve-se em torno da relação entre movimento LGBT e partidos, observada a partir da criação de núcleos LGBT ou núcleos de diversidade em agremiações partidárias. Investigou-se a criação e os primeiros anos de atuação do Diversidade Tucana (DT), primeiro núcleo criado fora do âmbito da esquerda, em 2006, no PSDB. Recorrendo às teorias dos movimentos sociais, especialmente à Teoria do Confronto Político (TCP), analisa-se material documental e entrevistas semiestruturadas e defende-se que foi necessária a convergência de certas oportunidades culturais e políticas que foram apropriadas pelos atores sociais envolvidos na criação do DT, notadamente: a vitória de Serra (PSDB) para a prefeitura de São Paulo, em 2004, que foi sucedida por ações em prol da diversidade sexual em sua gestão; a disseminação do enquadramento interpretativo da "diversidade sexual"; e a consolidação de um mercado GLS. Argumenta-se que entre a segunda metade dos anos 2000 e o início dos anos 2010, período compreendido pela pesquisa, a configuração político-partidária em São Paulo era fortemente marcada pela oposição entre PT e PSDB, o que impactava o movimento LGBT em âmbito local. Ao cotejar a trajetória do Diversidade Tucana - que surgiu visando ser um contraponto à "hegemonia petista" no movimento - foi possível situar o ano de 2008 como um momento de inflexão a partir do qual a tensão entre PT e PSDB passou a constituir uma marca do movimento LGBT local. Naquele ano, a realização do ciclo de conferências LGBT, a reestruturação do Conselho Municipal LGBT e as eleições municipais tornaram o contexto propício para o acirramento da tensão entre petistas e tucanos no interior do movimento. Ademais, discute-se o lugar de um núcleo partidário nas relações entre movimento e partido. No caso do Diversidade Tucana, defende-se que o grupo possui uma dualidade constitutiva, ou seja, é inerente à existência do DT lidar com a tensão entre o movimento e o partido. O recurso a tal noção permitiu ir além da dicotomia entre cooptação/autonomia e perceber que embora vinculado à estrutura partidária, o DT não esteve necessariamente submetido aos interesses do partido, visto que a sua atuação sempre foi agenciada contextualmente.

This research aims to identify connections between social movements and the institutional politics, and, therefore, contribute to the discussion about their relation. In order to do so, the focus was on the creation of LGBT groups or diversity groups in political parties. We investigated closely the creation and the first acting years of the "Diversidade Tucana" (DT), first sexual diversity group out of the left parties, which was created in 2006 at the Brazilian Democratic Social Party (PSDB, in Portuguese). We relied on the theories of social movements, especially the theoretical framework provided by the Contentious Politics. Documental material was assessed, as well as semi-structured interviews, and these finding suggest that a convergence of cultural and political opportunities were used by the social actors involved in the creation process of DT. Notably, the victory of José Serra (PSDB) to the city hall election in 2004, which was successful in actions pro sexual diversity during his term; the spreading of the framing of 'sexual diversity'; and the impacts of the consolidation of the GLS market. It is suggested that between the second half of the 2000s and the beginning of the 2010s, period analyzed by this research, the political-party scene in Sao Paulo was strongly marked by the confrontation between PT and PSDB, which impacted the LGBT local movement. By analyzing the trajectory of "Diversidade Tucana" - which came to life as an alternative to the 'PT hegemony' in the movement - it was possible to point out the year of 2008 as an inflexion moment in which the tension between PT and PSDB gained body and marked the local LGBT movement. In that year, the LGBT conferences, the restructure of Municipal LGBT Council of Sao Paulo and the municipal elections set the prosperous context to the fierce confrontation of PT and PSDB. Considering the "Diversidade Tucana", it is suggested that the group is immerse in a constitutive duality, in which its own existence is inherent to deal with the tension between the movement and the party. By relying in this notion it was possible to go beyond the dichotomy cooptation/autonomy and realize that, although it is strongly connected to the party structure, the DT was not, necessarily, under the influence of party interests, since its actions had a contextualized agency.
