O objetivo deste trabalho é realizar um estudo sobre a colaboração entre agentes religiosos católicos e os órgãos de repressão política do regime autoritário no Brasil, entre 1964 e 1985. A hipótese básica do trabalho é a de que essa colaboração aconteceu no contexto das relações entre Igreja e Estado no Brasil, que nunca foram interrompidas, mesmo durante os momentos históricos de interrupção do regime democrático. O núcleo desta dissertação será composto por três capítulos. Nos dois primeiros, será feita uma exposição sobre os três modelos sociológicos de Igreja, subjacentes à dinâmica sócio-política, vivida por essa instituição, no seu relacionamento com o Estado e com a sociedade civil. Da mesma maneira, será retomado o estudo sobre o modus operandi da repressão política. Em seguida, no terceiro capítulo, serão apresentados casos e personagens paradigmáticos de colaboração de agentes católicos com a polícia política

The objective of this work is to make an analysis about the collaboration between catholics religious agents and organs of the political repression of the authoritarian regime in Brazil, between 1964 and 1985.The basic hypothesis argues that this collaboration arrived in the context of the relations between the Church and the State in Brazil, that never were interrupted, including the historical moments without democracy. The core of this dissertation is divided along three chapters. In the chapters one and two, it wil be done an exposition of the three sociological models of Church, that are in the basis to the social and political process lived by this institution, in his interation with the State and the civil society. In the third chapter, I will try to make an analysis about the modus operandi of the political repression. Finally, I will present some cases of collaboration between catholics agents and the political police
