Abstract in English
Information geometry promotes an investigation of the geometric structure of statistical manifolds, providing a series of elucidations in areas ranging from information science to physical sciences. In this text, we show a dualistic structure (Fisher metric, ±α-connections) on the classical probability manifold coming from f-divergences globally definites by convex functions. Thus, we extend this formalism to obtain its quantum analog, finding a noncommutative family of Fisher metrics. Then, we connect these metrics with the allowed monotone metrics in quantum mechanics from the Morozova-Chentsov-Petz theorem by a relation between operator convex and monotone functions. At last, we show one application of geometric technics on a statistical inference problem, where we are going to calculate higher order correction on the Cramér-Rao bound for an uniparametric estimator from the geometric structure of the adjacent Hilbert space, classical or quantum, observing the intersections with the results previously presented.
