O presente trabalho propõe a construção de um instrumento microprocessado multissensor para a medida de parâmetros físicos e químicos da água. As variáveis medidas são: temperatura, turbidez, pH, oxigênio dissolvido, condutividade e profundidade. O sistema é composto por uma sonda multissensora e um micro padrão IBM/PC que permite a visualização e armazenagem dos dados. No circuito da sonda são utilizados componentes recentes como o microcontrolador PIC16C84 e o conversor A/D serial de 12 bits MAX187. O programa para o PC foi desenvolvido na linguagem Visual Basic 3.0 em ambiente Windows. A comunicação entre a sonda e o PC é feita através da porta serial RS232

The present work proposes the development of a multi sensor microprocessor based instrument for the measurement of physical and chemical water parameters. The water parameters that can be measured are: temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity and depth. The system includes the multisensor instrument and an IBM/PC microcomputer that allows data recording and viewing. The instrument circuit is based on recent components such as the microcontroller PIC16C84 and the 12-bit A/D converter MAX187. The PC software was developed in Visual Basic 3.0 for Windows. The multi sensor communicates with the PC by RS 232 serial cable
