Abstract in English
Current research indicates positive interventions of non-formal education spaces in teachers professional development. In this perspective, this work intends to strengthen studies that involve the evaluation of continuing education programs in non-formal education spaces, by means of the analysis of six term papers from Natural Science teachers, produced within the scope of a specialization course, offered in the Center for Scientific and Cultural Dissemination of the University of São Paulo (CDCC/USP), between 2016 and 2018. Therefore, evidence of authorship by the participant teachers was initially identified in sentences in their term paper texts, which were analyzed according to an adaptation of the four evaluation levels of the Kirkpatrick Model The analyzes reveal that the specialization course favored a positive reaction from these teachers towards it, provided a teacher performance in the classroom context that reflected knowledge covered in the training, which allowed a positive impact on the acquisition of knowledge by students involved in the teachers teaching practice in five out of six term papers studied.
