Abstract in English
Upon leaving the University, the Veterinarian can perform the role of Technical Responsible in companies that manufacture products of animal origin or food, among them, meat and derivatives industries. In establishments in this sector, which can slaughter, handle, process and package meat products and their by-products, the performance of the professional in this role is of paramount importance to guarantee the quality and safety of the products sold. The legislation on the subject is complex, the work routine requires technical knowledge, but it also requires the veterinarian to train the employees who work in these places, at all stages. Training is done so that they can properly execute the company's programs, which they often do not know how to elaborate. At the time of training, he works as a teacher and is not recognized as such, and his students have a characteristic profile of Youth and Adult Education (EJA). In search of remedying the difficulties, the veterinarian seeks continuing education courses, many available through EAD. The aim of this study is to verify if the courses available in the market in the EAD modality adequately train these professionals and if they provide pedagogical teaching tools necessary for the training of employees of these companies.
