Abstract in English
This work aims to analyze the processes of constitution, formulation and circulation of discourses produced by Palavra Cantada, a duo of singers / composers who have dedicated themselves since the beginning of their career, in 1994, to the Brazilian child world. Therefore, from the compositions and the broad musical market conquered, we return to the senses of what it is to be a child and the definition of childhood, generated by the duo. When we think of Palavra Cantada, we deal with a duo that makes music for (and about) children during a 26-year career, but what sayings / meanings are inscribed in these songs? What kind of child do they talk about? What imagery does the child like? Or what is the child's imagination discursivized by the duo? To observe the denaturalization of these sayings, it is necessary to understand how the subject is related to the discursive formation, because depending on the discursive formation in which the subject is inscribed, a single word can mean the opposite or different interpretation gestures may emerge in history. Thus, among the different types of knowledge that could support this research, it is the French discourse analysis, especially the thoughts of Michel Pêcheux promoted in the third phase, that will compose our theoretical and methodological endeavor; such theory provided us with great reflections in the path of the construction of our goals, because, through its heuristics, it was possible to problematize and cast a critical eye on such processes of constitution, formulation and circulation in the speeches about / for the child and childhood in children's songs. In this sense, it is from the theoretical framework, in the discursive perspective, that we seek to understand and analyze the discourse created by the Brazilian duo about the universe of childhood, analyzing the effects of meaning generated on what can and should be said about and for the child. As an analytical corpus, we mobilized a set of recorded songs that reflect meanings on this children's scenario. Therefore, we aim to show how the effects of meanings constructed by the discourses produced by Palavra Cantada, within the interdiscourse, allow us to revisit the history of children's musical composition by reconstructing it from new memories that are established in and through the discourse, that is, we observe in their discursive production traces that retake certain socially constructed imaginary of what it is to be a child and childhood through the process of circulation, which thus re-signifies its history and its meanings in contemporary times. The imaginary and the ideological in the songs addressed to children are discursivized in the Palavra Cantada productions regarding the childhood and the action of playing, reaffirming what was considered politically correct, that is, identified with the meanings of the dominant ideology concerning a capitalist discursive formation. Despite this newness with technology, Palavra Cantada does not break the boundaries of gender and social class, but rather reaffirms the meanings already inscribed in the memory of its ideological formation (capitalist).
