Nesta tese estarão abordados os grandes temas de Georges Politzer, tais como sua oposição entre psicologia concreta e psicologia clássica, sua base antropológica neokantiana, e sua passagem ao materialismo dialético ao tratar de questões da psicologia. A tese é que o melhor método de leitura de Politzer poderia ser aquele que vincula aos seus desenvolvimentos a noção de uma "negação determinada" da ciência psicológica - com a pouca base material experimental das induções científicas das tendências psicológicas mais adiantadas de sua época, especialmente as da psicanálise freudiana, Politzer faz a negação determinada do que ainda era tido como ciência psicológica neste contexto. O que exigiu de Politzer alguns desdobramentos nada fáceis de realizar, dado o estado dos preconceitos históricos nos quais estava baseada a ciência psicológica. Quanto ao que podemos chamar de seu "kantismo", em relação à tese kantiana que define o que é determinação e o que é determinável no fato da consciência de si, Politzer se decidiu pela afirmação do caráter não ontológico da natureza do Eu, que engaja uma noção de drama histórico e singular para a compreensão da pessoa humana. Com esse fim, o autor empreende uma crítica severa da forma abstrata ainda presente na filosofia de Bergson e na psicanálise de Freud para a compreensão concreta da realidade humana. É o que nos propomos a apresentar e analisar ao longo deste trabalho.

This thesis will cover the major themes of Georges Politzer, such as his opposition between concrete psychology and classical psychology, his neo-Kantian anthropological base, and his transition to dialectical materialism when dealing with issues of psychology. The thesis is that the best method to read Politzer's work could be one that links to his developments the notion of a "determinate negation" of psychological science - with the little experimental material basis of the scientific inductions of the most advanced psychological tendencies of his time, especially those of Freudian psychoanalysis, Politzer makes a determinate negation of what was still held to be psychological science in this context. What demanded of Politzer some developments not easy to realize, given the state of historical prejudices on which psychological science was based. As for what we can call his "kantism", in relation to the Kantian thesis that defines what is determination and what is determinable in the fact of self-consciousness, Politzer decided to affirm the non-ontological character of the nature of the Self, which engages a notion of historical and singular drama for the understanding of the human person. To this end, the author undertakes a severe critique of the abstract form still present in Bergson's philosophy and in Freud's psychoanalysis for the concrete understanding of human reality. This is what we propose to present and analyze throughout this work.
