Este estudo buscou problematizar o conceito de inovação no campo educacional e no Programa Inova Educação, salientando as metamorfoses e a ampliação sofridas por este conceito na história educacional recente. O percurso metodológico deste trabalho desenvolve-se a partir de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental de cunho qualitativo. Para tanto revisitou-se a obra de autores clássicos de referência do campo educacional, cujas propostas foram e ainda são consideradas inovadoras bem como contextualizou-se artigos que discorrem sobre a temática da inovação na atualidade e analisou-se o Programa Inova Educação, que foi criado pela Secretaria de Educação do Estado de São Paulo em 2019, e que tem o propósito declarado de "oferecer novas oportunidades para todos os estudantes do 6º ao 9º ano e Ensino Médio do Estado de São Paulo" (SÃO PAULO, 2019). Para realizar a análise do referido Programa, este estudo foi respaldado no arcabouço teórico da Análise do Discurso de matriz francesa, fundada por Michel Pêcheux. A partir das análises é possível indiciar que o sentido atribuído pelo Programa ao conceito de inovação é a oferta do uso das tecnologias em todas as escolas do estado de São Paulo. Cabe salientar ainda que embora adote um discurso de inovação, colaboração e interação, o Inova possui caráter imperativo e mercadológico, ao objetivar, em última instância a formação para o mercado de trabalho.

This study aimed at problematizing the concept of innovation in the educational Field and in the Inova Educação program, highlighting the metamorphoses and the expansion suffered by this concept in recent educational history. The methodological path of this work is based on qualitative bibliographical and documentary research. For this purpose, the work of classic authors of reference in the educational field was revisited, whose proposals were and still are considered innovative, as well as the contextualization of articles that discuss the theme of innovation nowadays and also the analysis of the Inova Educação program, which was created by the São Paulo State Department of Education in 2019. This program has the stated purpose of "offering new opportunities for all students from the 6th to the 9th year and High School of the State of São Paulo" (SÃO PAULO, 2019). In order to conduct the analysis of the referred Program, this study was supported by the theoretical framework of the Discourse Analysis of French matrix, created by Michel Pêcheux. From the analyzes it is possible to indicate that the meaning attributed by the Program to the concept of innovation is the offer to use technologies in all schools in the state of São Paulo. Finally, it is important to note that despite adopting a discourse of innovation, collaboration and interaction, Inova contains, in fact, imperative and marketing characteristics, as it ultimately aims at training for the labor market.
