O texto dissertativo apresenta os resultados finais de pesquisa feita com estudantes de uma escola púbica de ensino médio e o uso do smartphone com acesso à Internet dentro do universo escolar, tendo como objetivo compreender e analisar como eram os usos desta tecnologia no interior da escola e quais seus desdobramentos na relação entre os jovens e seus pares e os jovens e os adultos. Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, serviu-se aportes teóricos das áreas das Ciências Sociais e da Educação oferecidos por autores brasileiros e estrangeiros que contribuem à compreensão das relações dos regimes de interação entre integrantes das novas gerações e das gerações adultas, além daqueles que contribuem para a análise das novas tecnologias da informação (NTICs) no contexto atual. A pesquisa foi realizada em um estabelecimento de ensino público estadual de ensino médio, situado em município de porte médio do interior nordeste do estado de São Paulo, com economia sustentada pelo agronegócio e o setor de serviços. De abordagem qualitativa, a partir dos aportes teóricos das áreas científicas mencionadas, as atividades de campo se distribuíram entre levantamento bibliográfico de pesquisas realizadas com temáticas similares, a observação, o registro em caderno de campo, a organização e a realização de grupos de discussão com estudantes do 1º ano (16) e do 3º ano (22) do ensino médio. O texto apresenta e interpreta, portanto, os resultados construídos a partir dessas práticas de pesquisa, permitindo identificar e analisar como eles enfrentaram os desafios impostos pelas Leis do estado de São Paulo que proibiram o uso do telefone móvel no interior da sala de aula, seja antes, durante ou após o contexto pandêmico. Também foi possível compreender as formas como eles usavam, individual e coletivamente, os smartphones e a Internet na sala de aula a partir de práticas astuciosas nas relações com os pares ou com os docentes, gerando tensões e favorecendo a emergência de fofocas como modo de relação social e exercício de poder. Ainda, foi possível compreender relações que os alunos estabeleciam com os membros da geração adulta no mundo escolar pela medida do celular e da Internet, sendo possível identificar incivilidades e críticas à autoridade docente em perspectiva tradicional, mas sem a presença de conflitos.

The dissertation text presents the final results of research carried out with students from a public high school and their uses of smartphones with Internet access within the school universe, with the objective of understanding and analyzing how this technology was used within the school and what are its developments in the relationship between young people and their peers and young people and adults. For the development of the research, theoretical contributions were made from the areas of Social Sciences and Education offered by Brazilian and foreign authors who contribute to the understanding of the relations of the interaction regimes between members of the new generations and of the adult generations, in addition to those who contribute to the analysis of new information technologies (NICTs) in the current context. The research was carried out in a state public high school, located in a medium-sized municipality in the northeast interior of the state of São Paulo, with an economy supported by agribusiness and the service sector. With a qualitative approach, based on the theoretical contributions of the mentioned scientific areas, the field activities were distributed between bibliographic survey of research carried out with similar themes, observation, registration in a field notebook, organization and realization of discussion groups with 1st year (16) and 3rd year (22) high school students. The text presents and interprets, therefore, the results constructed from these research practices, which allowed identifying and analyzing how they faced the challenges imposed by the Laws of the State of São Paulo that prohibited the use of mobile phones inside the classroom, either before, during or after the pandemic context. It was also possible to understand the ways in which they used, individually and collectively, smartphones and the Internet in the classroom based on cunning practices in relationships with peers or with teachers, generating tensions and favoring the emergence of gossip as a form of relationship. society and exercise of power. It was still possible to understand the relationships they established with members of the adult generation in the school world by measuring cell phones and the Internet, making it possible to identify incivilities and criticisms of teaching authority from a traditional perspective, but without the presence of conflicts.
