Abstract in English
The experiments carried out for determination of the sterilizing doses of gamma radiations were realized under laboratory conditions. The insect studied was Plodia interpunctella (Hüb., 1813). The last three evolutionary phases of its life cycle were irradiated under a dose rate of approximately 3000 Gy per hour. During the experiments all insects were kept under controlled environmental conditions of 25 ± 2°C and relative humidify of 70 ± 5%. As results obtained, the sterilizing doses of adult irradiated at the larval phase were 100 Gy. The inhibitions doses for pupal transformation into adulfs were 150 Gy. The sterilizing doses for adults irradiated as pupae was 200 Gy. The sterilizing dose for irradiated adult males and females was 550 Gy.
